 Greetings, my name is Pastor Scott Snyder, and I am in my
10th year of service here at Breesport.
During this time, my wife Carol, and I have not only enjoyed seeing our
family grow, but we have also been enjoying serving the Lord and the people
of this community. We truly do count it a great privilege to minister on
behalf of the Lord.
I personally began my service to the Lord at the age of 6,
at which time a gave my life to Christ to become a follower of him as a
result preaching ministry of the Word
of God in Hackensack, New Jersey. On a Sunday evening, the Pastor that night
preached a message that spoke to me and my need of salvation. Once giving my
life to Christ, my service to the Lord continued as I had the privilege of
growing up in a pastor's home, and saw first hand how God can bless us when
we serve Him with our whole heart and life
When I graduated from high school. I followed God's call in my life to
full-time ministry by attending Baptist
Bible College
in Clarks Summit, PA, studying Pastoral Ministries. I met my lovely
wife Carol while attending BBC. We fell in love and were married in the
 summer
of 1996. Following my graduation from BBC in 1997, we came on staff
full-time here at Breesport, and have been serving
here ever since. Our daughter Kayla was born in March of 1999, our
second daughter, Juliana was added to our family in May of 2002, and finally
along came our boy Payton in May of 2005. We have been truly blessed by God
with such a wonderful family.
As the Pastor here at Breesport Baptist, I want you
to know that we are more than a church - we're a FAMILY - and we'd like to
have you be part of it. Whether you are a spiritual seeker just beginning to
ask questions about God or a committed Christian wanting to deepen your
faith, Breesport Baptist is a place you can call
home. It truly is our passion to help people and to minister to their needs
to the best of our abilities. God is  doing
some special things for us here at Breesport and we
anticipate His continued blessing as we look to the future. If you have any
